I, too, enjoy having the switches on the console for easy access for the drive -- makes more sense to me than on the door (although, I've been driving C900's since I started driving, so maybe that's just because I'm used to it that way). It's exactly the problem of A) there being lots of switches there and people not being able to find their window easily/quickly, B) when the front passengers want their windows up/down at the same time, it's a game of hand traffic congestion, C) people are used to having the window switch on the door.
It seems like the mirror switch placeholder on the passenger door could easily be replaced with a passenger window switch, which would in turn get wired in line with the passenger switch from the console pack.
Gavin, the car is my mother's and so it isn't here for me to access/tinker with. I was mostly just speculating after a "frustrating" night with my C900. There's not really a great place to add a window switch to the C900 3-door on the passenger side, but the 9000 seems like it's got the perfect spot all ready to go.
