Hello again!
So, i usually drive similar to you, about 70-75...
last night i was pushing 80's because i was in a hurry, but i also wanted to test my mileage...
around my town on the highways i'm usually not driving that fast...
i noticed that the EDU said i got slightly better gas mileage at 70-75 than 80...
so it wasn't a good expiriment i guess.
Where i am from is in the adirondack mountains. So, that's a big NO on the flatlands, and a big YES on the hilly, topsy turvy up and down mountains and valleys mayham!
i'm sure that doesn't help.
21 MPG is my low guess too... it's usually better than that...
but that would be a low guess only for highway driving, not city driving...
around town i'm MR. ZIP i guess... flooring it on every street, to every stop sign... always in a hurry.
I guess i should slow down, and look around at the pretty scenery every once and a while, but it took me so long to get my car to this level f performance, i've just gotta abuse the power for a while, until i get sick of it! ;)
so i'm guessing i get pretty crappy mpg around town, but that's to be expected the way i drive. I'm just concerned on big highway trips about how much i'll have to spend on gas to get from point A to point B.
As of right now, if i got 22 MPG, assuming our tank is about 14 galons, than i could drive about 300 miles on a tank of gas. Which is acceptable to me...
but since i use the 93 octane, which averages a cost of about $2.30 up here... than i spend abour $32 to drive 300 miles.
I guess it's cheaper than a bus ticket... and more stylish too! ;)
