Both left and right, you need to loosen the 32mm nut in wheel hub and the ball joints so that you can swing the whole strut out while using a brass hammer to knock the C/V joint out of the wheel hub.
On the 9000 you remove the clamp around inner C/V boot and pull the axle out with just the tri pod bearing on the axle.
The inner drive hub stays in transmission (left side) or intermediate support bearing (right side).
To remove the drive hubs you need to get to a snap ring on the inside.
Left, remove the 5 bolts holding housing to transmission and pull whole housing out of transmission.
Right side, you need to get to the snap ring between intermediate shaft and bearing support.
