I bought the exact same car in late '99 with 65k. The car now has 161k. The V6 is a sweet engine. It gets bad raps on this board because it isn't a Saab I4, but it's a great highway cruiser. The timing belt should have been changed at 60k and the tensioner replaced with the improved kit that doubles the belt life to 60k changes. The partnumber of the updated kit is #4773842, the original old one is #4623906 or #4770509 depending on engine serial number. This is the main weak point. Other nuisance is the cam cover gaskets will eventually leak oil down on the manifolds and fill the spark plug wells. Front one is easy, rear one requires disassembling most of the intake. Rest of the body, suspension, and electrics are in common. It is a sedan, vice hatchback, and the rear seat doesn't fold, but there is a small pass-thru hatch for skis, lumber, etc. I paid $6800 in '99 for excellent condition, so you may be able to negotiate a little lower than $6000.
