...is actually the output to the amp in your car.

I'm not positive that your car has an external amplifier.

it's possible...

another possibility is that the 8-pin din connector is just a simple breakout connector for the speakers themselves, and the speaker wires just come out of the din connector and head towards the speakers.

On older 9000's, there was a din port for a cd player, or an eq, that was optional. If you didn't have a cd player or eq, there was a special plug in the din port.

if the plug was removed, there would also be no sound, but it didn't mean that audio was running through it.

in your case, it might be, 8 pins would equal 4 pairs of speaker wire.

The best thing i can tell you to do is this...

go buy the appropriate matching 8-pin din connector to make your breakout cable with, since you will have to do that anyways.

get a 9 volt battery, and some extra wire.

when you have the breakout cable setup, start attaching pairs of wire to the 9volt battery. when you find two wires that run to a speaker, the speaker will make some static noises. this will not damage your speakers. with trial and error you should be able to figure out which wires run to which speaker... and you can lable them with tape.

it will be difficult to tell which wire is positive and which one negative... my guess is that they will all be the same way. for example, pins 1-8 looking at the din connector from left to right...

1st pin left front positive, 2nd pin left front negative, 3rd pin right front positive, 4th pin right front negative, 5th pin left rear positive, 6th pin left rear negative, 7th pin right rear positive, 8th pin, right rear negative...

the other way would be... 1st pin left front NEGATIVE, 2nd pin left front POSITIVE...etc etc

the locations of the speakers is something i guessed at, you will have to make sure on that with the battery.

i would try the positive pin first, then negative... you've got a 50/50 chance of getting them all right, or getting them all wrong. if you get them all wrong, it won't hurt anything either, in fact, you may never know... you might notice the sound is queiter... in which case switch them and try the other way for comparison...

sorry this is pretty generic help... but i tried...
