hello there...
that sounds like a pain! My driver's seat has a strange issue... where the motor that controls the tilt of the seat backing to your right as you're sitting in it starts slipping. but it slipps ever so slowly.
so all of a sudden, you realize that the seat backing, instead of bein level with your back, is tilted to either the left or the right, and if you were going to lean with your back hard against it, you would either be looking out the driver window, or looking right at your passanger!
it only does this sometimes tho, i think when i'm leaning very hard into it.
i've found a way to adjust the other motors on the seat so the back won't move around as much.
the previous owner had the same problem, and their remedy was to remove the cable that controls that motor... that way you could sort of independently control one motor, to get them even again, and then reconnect the other cable....
you know what i mean?
so remove the cable from the slipped motor, and adjust the working motor to get even with the slipped one...
and then when they are evern hook the cable back up.
i say cable, because if you look under the seat, there are little motors about the size of a soda can, 3 of them i think, with 2 cables that are covered in black plastic comming out of them.
be careful with the plastic covers, cause they can break and that's a pain.
honestly, mine were already broken from the guy before me, so i was just dealing with sticking the cables in and out of the motor to make my adjustments, the black sheathing was the only thing there to "hold" the metal cable in the motor... so...
...what you'll have to deal with is removing the black housing where it attaches to the motor, and then removing the cable...
the easiest way to get at this stuff, was to move the seat all of the way forward, and raised up as high as possible, to expose the lug nuts at the back floor area. remove the nuts holding the seat to the floor, and then move the seat back all the way and see if you can remove the front screws in the floor. they are a strange bolt patttern, and i had to jerry rig a tool to get them out... if you can't get them out, you can still tip the seat back and up off the floor so you can gt at the motors... but if you can get the front seat detached from the floor, it makes it much easier to work on.
good luck
