Don't know your model year, but Quasi's site has great info on replacing the transistor on the ACC2 systems. I've done the transistor replacement on my '91 and ultimately found the reason the transistor burned was a bad connector in the harness to the ACC control unit. I still want to reterminate the power cables to the CU, but haven't shopped at the right place yet (if anyone knows the specs on the female crimp connectors I'd appreciate it).
My word of warning is this: replacing the ACC control unit will return proper functioning to your climate control system, but deteriorated terminations on the power cables might have originally caused the problem (and may contribute to the short life of a replacement).
