The oil pump reduction valve is generally known as the oil pressure relief valve. It keeps the oil pressure from getting too high by bleeding some of the oil back to the sump. I think on the 2.3 liter engine it is to the left of the oil pump, on the back of the engine. (I hope I'm not confusing this with the 2.0 liter engine.) The relief valve is just a plunger and a spring. There is a bolt that you reach from a hole in the alternator bracket that holds the spring in. I can check tonight to confirm the position of the valve.
Why do you think you need a new pressure relief valve? Did it stick open? Stick closed? Or do you just want to clean and inspect it?
