That's a very nice gesture, Noel. At the risk of being scooped on an ostensibly good car here's the details I have.

The car is advertised on Autotrader.com. It is being sold by Davis Pontiac, Isuzu in Richboro, PA 18954 866-620-2980 stock number 2728A as a CERTIFIED SAAB 9000 Aero with a warranty (no details yet, although I have asked). There are 9 photos included with the Autotrader ad and they look nice (then again so do most things in photos). One of the things I noticed right away is that the car does not have the Aero wheels and I don't know why. The rest of the details are also included. I've requested some information about the 100+ inspection performed by the dealer. I sure would love it if a knowledgeable SAAB nut (mechanic or enthusiast) could check it out and give an honest, unbiased recommendation about the car. Phoenix, AZ is a long way from there and I could use all the help I can get.

Like most SAAB nuts here they're picky about the cars and wat them to be clean and I'm no exception. I'm willing to maintain the car and keep it up but there's a difference between upkeep and trying to "polish a turd." I want to avoid the latter, naturally.

Thanks again for the suggestion and the willingness to help.
