Like Michael Smith said, JB Weld can be used. I repaired a leak in a plastic radiator on an old Mazda turbo years ago. In my case, the repair lasted for over three years (~50K miles), until I sold the car. It wasn't leaking when I sold it.
If you elect to try JB Weld (or similar epoxy), make sure the area is clean of any coolant or grease. You should let engine cool, then release pressure in the cooling system (so coolant doesn't ooze out during epoxy cure). I lightly sanded the area (for better adhesion), then again cleaned area with isopropyl alcohol. You might have to get creative in your method of keeping the epoxy where you need it. In my case, I made a little dam with some scotch tape. If possible, I would also apply a second coat to perhaps impart some additional strength to the joint.
Good Luck
