I have a 93 1/2 Aero, with TCS, no "off switch." I find that the TCS causes me no difficulty whatsoever. Probably actually helps me from burning through tires. yes, if it is very icy and you are going up a very steep hill or something, then the car can "shut you down" and keep the wheels from spinning. But the off switch will only inhibit TCS up to 37 mph (might be 35, can't remember). Save your car and buy a cheap 4x4 for winter ;)
In the event that you do have tcs and want to turn it off, Quasimotors site has instructions, and kits are available from sponsors, although I can't remember which one right now....
best of luck
