I wouldn't weld everything, especially the muffler. What if you don't like the sound? The ideal solution is to use stainless steel band clamps - they're very easy to work with, if you ever have to do removal. The distance from the cat' to the rear muffler is a long and circuitous one - there will be a lot of bending and welding. That takes time and someone who knows what they are doing. Also, make sure, whoever does it, that they weld something to accept the cat' hanger at the back of the engine. Three inch pipe isn't cheap and all of the national chains, that I've encountered, wont work with the stuff, let alone carry it. Fortunately, there are indies. Look for someone that will let you see their work on other vehicles. To custom fabricate and hang a full 3" system takes a good part of a day, say 4-5 hours - if they've done a 9000 before, or have done several, it may be even less. Labor rates can vary, but a good rule of thumb to follow is that good, skilled labor isn't cheap. I'd say $4-500 - hung.
