Anyone ever hear of or use Fuzions?......

Here's my problem. When my '94 Aero went up in flames, two of the four new wheels and tires (Firehawk SZ-50's) were lost. After waiting for over 6 months, the replacement wheels finally arrived, yesterday. Ideally, I'd put a pair of the SZ-50's on, to match the other two, but Firestone no longer makes them (Go figure: they stop manufacturing their best tire, yet still make the cheapos). Now, the S-03's use the same compound but have a different (block) tread pattern, and sell for about the same price as the SZ-50's. Perusing other brands, on TireRack, I came across these Fuzions. They also use the same compound and, I think, are owned by Bridgestone/Firestone. I'd rather have all my tires the same, but I can't see just throwing away the Firestones, which have less than 2k miles on them. What's particularly attractive about the Fuzions is their price: half of the S-03's. The size I need are 225/50-16's (they're going on 16 x 7" rims). My thinking is that I can suffice with different, but similar, brands of tires, at least until it's time to get 4 more new ones.
