Aaron,
Your photo is not visible to me, Yahaoo won't let me see it. From your description it sounds like the hose that connects the clutch master cylinder (which is at the clutch pedal) to the metal line that connects to the slave cylinder in the bell housing. If these screw back together and hold pressure your'all all done (after bleeding system of course). I suspect that you'll need to replace one or both of the hose/line. I had a similar failure on a 900T once.
The tranny check/fill hole is in near the front of the car, not far from where the slave cylinder is, sort of underneath the turbo pipe to the intake manifold. It looks more file a vent type thing than a dip stick cover. Its about 1" in diameter, protrudes out of the trans by about 1.5". There is a small metal handle to grasp and pull. There is no drain plug on this trans (assuming the CD gets the same trans as the normal 9000T). I would be surprised if your trans is empty. I also note that SAAB sees no need to change trans fluid (hence no drain plug). Stupid, heh?
good luck
Ed N
