Errr.. what's the 'Main Pump' onna 88 ?? Oil?
Often Clutch issues as in not working are due to Master Cylinder failure,
Sometimes due to slave failures but much rarer., also possible that yr Clutch disk is somehow sticking onn it's splined shaft.
Suggest exploring the M Cylinder first .. it's the easiest :-)
Note tho that you can take a peek at the Clutch action thru the access hole where the hyd line enters the bellhousing.. one can see movement and extent of slave extension, therefore wear/life of the disk.
Cruise control failure is usually due to a poorly aligned Microswitch onn the Pedals.
