do you always disconnect both terminals? I usually did, but wondered if it's overkill. I'd rather not lose all the memory settings in the Trionic (it's boosting really nice the past couple of months) and likewise with the aftermarket Sony stereo [memory settings, not boost :) ].
So, any thoughts on risk of damage by putting a Sears Craftsman computer chip controlled charger on overnight with the battery in place? Any potential damage to the higher charging rate surging into any onboard electrics?
I've had the charger for years -- it's the kind that will not overcharge, tells you (via 'beeps') when it's done, if the battery held the charge, can be left on the 2 amp trickle setting all winter if needed -- it's always worked well on various boat, deep cycle, and car batteries.
