Like jj said, the bushings at the front of the front control arm don't wear out usually and definitely need to be pressed out to be replaced. The bushings at the rear of the front control arm are pretty easy to replace once you get at them. I did this job a few weeks ago and removed the entire control arm. Some people on the BB say they've been able to replace the bushings at the rear without removing the entire control arm, but if you take it off, you can get at a bunch of other bushings like the sway bar/sway bar link bushings and also get at the ball joints. Parts are cheap, so it couldn't hurt to do some of the "might as well" stuff.
