Michele,

Can you clarify whether the fan's running at all? In other words, is the fan running but air isn't getting directed to the vents, or is the fan not running?

If you set the fan speed to its highest setting (see one of the other posts for which button to push if you're not sure) you should be able to hear the fan running; if you can't hear it, then it's probably met its demise.

This is a common problem with 9000s of all years and variants. Basically, it's inevitable (I'll be replacing one this weekend myself). Only solution is to replace the blower motor. Unfortunately this is a bit of a job, though anyone can do it with time and patience, and owing to the job's unpleasantness it's recommended to replace the heater core at the same time (located in the same spot) so that when the heater core inevitably develops leaks one does not have to repeat the labor all over again. It's expensive to pay someone to do this work owing to the labor involved.

As to the wiper button, that's the button for the rear washer jet. If it's blowing a fuse, the motor is probably fried or the wiring is grounding somewhere it shouldn't. A bit of a pain to replace, but you can certainly live without it if you decide not to bother.

Where are you located? If you're in the CT area I could provide you some assistance with these tasks if you wish.

Good news is that these problems, once fixed, do not recur in general. Good luck!
