I haven't tried it ... here's why

Oil companies put lots of $$$ into R&D of their products. There are so many additives in oil these days (especially synthetic), that adding something else seems to be the X-factor in an otherwise known lubrication product.
Maybe my faith in the oil company's engineers is misplaced, who knows.
The link below is to a website that has forums about oil--lots of interesting reading, by folks who are way more into oil formulas and stuff than I am. Nevertheless, lots of interesting information.
The part that gets me on the link for the lucas stuff is the air that got trapped in the oil. Where there's air, there's no oil, which equals heat. Seems like reasonable logic to me.
I've seen the countertop displays too, and while they are neat to play with while standing in line, I don't feel that they accurately replicate what REALLY happens inside your engine. If you do try it, let us know what happens--I am curious.
For the sake of disclosure, I have added Lubegard Red to my AT fluid, but that was based upon a recommendation from SAAB for a squawk between 2-3. It hasn't completely eliminated it, but it is much quieter.
Just one opinion ...
