I PURCHASED A 9000CST WITH ELECTRONIC THROTTLE!! WHAT WAS I THINKING OF
(IT WAS CHEAP SO FORGIVE ME. AFTER WEEKS OF MESSING AROUND EVEN USEING
ISAT I WAS UNABLE TO GET RID OF A HUGE HESITATION STARTING OF FROM REST.
FOR EXAMPLE STARTING OFF FROM A ROAD JUNCTION I CAN PUSH THE THROTTLE,
SLIGHTLY OR TO THE FLOOR NOTHING HAPPENS, 3-4 SECS LATER IT PICKS UP AND
AWAY IT GOES. ALSO ON LIGHT THROTTLE IT SURGES/HUNTS SLIGHTLY AS IF IT
WAS RUNNING LEAN (I DISCONECTED THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR BLOCKING OFF
INLET SIDE)BUT WHEN I MADE IT RUN RICHER THE PROBLEM WAS STILL PRESENT
SLIGHTLY WORSE IF ANYTHING. I HAVE TRIED EARTHS, ECU CONECTIONS, BENCH
TESTED THROTTLE HOUSING AND KICKDOWN MOTOR, ALSO TRIED A GOOD AMM NO
BETTER. NEXT I SET UP A MANNUAL THROTTLE REPLACING BUTERFLY BASIC SETTING
SCREW WITH A LONGER ONE TO SET UP IDLE, DOING IT THIS WAY I DIDN'T HAVE
A AIC SYSTEM TO ALLOW FOR, COLD ENGINE, H/LIGHTS, INT FAN, RAD FAN AND
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM THE A/C COMPRESSOR. ALSO IT SEEMED TO HAVE LOST ITS
GRADUAL THROTTLE/BOOST CONTROL AS IF I WAS A LEARNER DRIVER! VERY ANNOYING AND IT SEEMED TO MAKE THE GEARCHANGES HARSHER
SO I PUT THE ORIGINAL THROTTLE HOUSING BACK ON. THIS TIME I MANUALY MEASURED THE KICKDOWN CABLE IN ALL ITS RESTING POSITIONS INSTEAD OF RELYING ON ISAT RESISTANCE MEASUREMENTS. I THEN RECALIBRATED EVERYTHING
TO SUIT, THERE WAS A NOTICABLE IMPROVEMENT, HESITATION/FLATSPOT BUT NO 3-4 SECOND DELAY. IF YOU ACCELERATE QUICKLY NO HESSITATION IS FELT, BUT ITS
NOT VERY COMFORTABLE ACCELERATING LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME (I'M TO OLD)
SO SOMEONE OUT THERE PLEASEEE HELP ME.

DELAY
