The tube fits close to the engine so, at the point of the leak there is no room to go around it. I have a tube from the wrecking yard, but it has a split just past the elbow towards the rear of the motor (due to freezing). I think that I might be able to cut and add in a section before the bolt so that it is still rigid at the pump...Thanks for the posts...I will report back later if I am succesful. RC
