Sorry to say, the 9000 will never be a collectible car. Far too many were made, and Saabs have never had that cachet. Heck, they only made 258 two-stroke Sonetts, but you don't see them selling for $25K.
So you're talking about a 16 year old used car. One in very nice shape, but a used car. Upgrades are nice, but add very little to the value of the car.
I've got a '92 9000 I've had since I picked it up new at the dealer with 8 miles on the odo. It doesn't have a scratch, and looks brand new, inside and out. Only has 65K miles, and I love it. And with a strong wind and lots of luck, maybe I could get $3K for it. Because that's all a 14 year old used car is worth. To me, it's worth a lot more. That's why I'm not selling it.
The differences between a used car and a collectible are a bunch of things. Super high performance is one. A 9Kt has performance, but not that much. Rarity is another. Saabs aren't that common, but they aren't that rare. Nostalgia is another. Great if you're a '65 Mustang convertable, but the only folks you'll impress are other Saab nuts. And most of us aren't nuts enough to pay a lot for a car like that, because we know there are a bunch out there.
When Buick came out with the last year of Turbo Grand Nationals, a bunch of folks bought them off dealer lots, and let them sit on blocks in the garage, knowing full well that the price would soar. And why not? Turbo power, last of the breed, exclusivity. And a few years later, when they went to cash in, they found that the price was about $10K less than they paid, and that's for 0 mile cars. Why? Because they were just three year old used cars. You could find low mileage ones of similar condition for half the new price - why pay more for 0 miles? And the performance was good, but you could get just as good with a new Mustang.
Sorry to say, your car isn't worth much in monetary terms to sell.
