Jeff,
The lack of pressure from the pedal means that you have a leak in the clutch hydraulic system. It could be due to the clutch's master or slave cylinder or a leak in the line somewhere in the system.
Brakes and clutch are related in that they use the same fluid to actuate their systems.
Look under the engine bay to find out where the brake fluid is coming from to identify the source of the problem and sort it out. If its one of the two cylinders - it's a leaky seal that needs to be replaced - you can either replace the cylinder or just the seals (the latter option is much cheaper, but depending on the state of the cylinder, won't last as long).
You can add more fluid and rebleed the system to get a bit more life out of it, but only for maybe a week or two - depending on how much you drive before the clutch is inoperable.
On my car it was the slave cylinder (87 model) that caused a leak inside the clutch bellhousing... not a fun fix!!
