Which section do you need to replace? Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: 91 9000t factory boost gauge vac line., mark, Fri, 25 Feb 2005 16:07:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I assume you mean the section from the nipple on the interior of the firewall to the back of the gauge itself. In that case, the easiest way will be to remove the dash cover.
I don't know if there is even access from underneath, but if there is, it'd crazily tight. So take the dash cover off and you'll see what to. Just make sure you use the same size line (the thicker the "sidewall" of the line the better, just make sure the interior diameter is the same) and make sure the connections are tight. Before you remove the old line, feel around to see which nipple its attached to; IIRC correctly, there is more than one nipple in the area in which you'll be working.
Do a search to see how to take off the dash if you don't already know how. Its not that hard, but there are some hidden screws. Quasi has a good write-up also.
