After reading through your posts I am afraid that it might be to late for a retorque on your engine.
Picture below is from a 9-3 engine with about 90K miles and where the head bolts had been loose a little bit too long.
When the head gasket has been saturated too much by coolant and oil it starts to disolve and it is a slight chance that the remaining gasket gets crushed under the new torque.
If you go the route of retorque by yourself just to test with, you can probably reuse the old bolts and just get a new valve cover gasket (or even keep the old valve cover gasket).
As for your question about head bolt pictures (or any other pictures from me).
You can always click on the little TSN symbol after my name on any of my posts and it will take you to my member page where I try to upload pictures of different interest.
If you right click on the picture you can save it to your computer instead and not having to search for it every time.
