If you search the NG900, 9-3 and 9-5 board you find tons of posts.
This retorque discussion haven't been to big here on the 9000 board, maybe because it isn't that many 97/98 9000 out of the roads.
I for sure don't see many of them.
When just doing a retorque without using new bolts you can loosen one bolt and torque it to 60Nm, don't worry about the 40Nm stage since the whole head is already clamped down by the other 9 bolts.
When you have loosened and torqued all 10 bolts to 60Nm you do it all over again but at this time do the 90 degree angle torque.
