M3,
Hope all's well with you!
The Aero has a mid resonator which couples to the rear muffler. The Aero's rear muffler had a reduced internal baffling for less exhaust flow restriction.
The turbocharged Aero will prob. always have a more modest exhaust vocal than the non turbo application as the turbine wheel of the turbocharger acts as the Aero's first exhaust resonator. Removal of the mid/intermediate muffler would increase the Aero's exhaust vocals when under full load but many customers, in some cases, find backdraw/reversion (what sounds like an exhaust backfire) upon deceleration with this exhaust modification.
The Aero could also see use of the atmos. dump valve (BOV) which would also make a notable increase in vocals of boost pressure relief.
Best regards,
Gary at SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC
