I assume that this is a follow up to yesterday's discussion about your 1992 9000T with flaky boost. Is it possible to insert a probe in the back side of the APC connector (or a pin into the wire?) to measure the voltage on "pin 20" at the APC controller? This is how I measured the "high" signal on my Cruise Control module and found that it was indeed signalling incorrectly to the ECU on my car. I would be reluctant to start bending or otherwise messing with the connector pins if it's posible to measure them passively. Once you have a connection to the wire, you can depress the brake pedal and see if it changes properly (low to high?). You might even be able to leave it connected and go for a ride to see if there is any change in the level on pin 20 and/or some correlation with the base boost. Just hunting for ideas here......
