Than the ones from at least 1994 and up. I think there were some small changes around the time of the body style change, but pretty much its a similar ZF unit throughout the model run. A 1998 won't be any better than a 1996, for example, but it totally depends on the service history and treatment of the tranny. AFAIK, the most reliable ones will be from '94 and up. I personally have over 135K on mine ('95 Super CS with some mods) and it shifts like its brand new.
