uh oh... big problem Posted by TML [Email] (#2212) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TML) on Sat, 19 Mar 2005 13:36:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I was working on something near the headlight switch with some needle nose pliers, and I must have momentarily touched the switch connector, which I had detached. The bad news is this started a chain reaction, causing the insulation on the wires to melt, and then the wires shorted together. This continued until I managed to get the battery disconnected. So I imagine the wires are melted together all the way down their length. No fuse blew. :(
So my question is, does anyone know where that wire bumdle is routed? Does it go across to the fuse box on the passenger side, then to the battery from there? I may be looking at replacing more than one wiring harness. I am near tears when I think about the amount of work it will be to do this.
