So I tried in vain for two hours to get the voltage regulator out of my alternator. I got the right screw out, but the left one was stuck too badly and I was concerned about stripping it. Couldn't get enough pressure on it I think (once I removed a bracket that was in the way).
So, next step is to remove alternator.
It looks too large to come out the top with the u-mount removed, is this true? So it would have to come out the side through the wheel well?
Anyone have any pointers on this specific car before I jump in?
Thanks,
Aaron
