Your ok with that unit #9109075 that is an early 2.3 liter throttle body. The next unit #4197927 had a redesigned potentimeter to over come the wear problem in the early #9109075 units.Next is the 1st. gold plated terminal design #9169699,it requires a supplementary terminal kit #38822348 to be used in the earlier cars with the none gold plated connector contacts. The lastest design was part #9170705 with gold plated terminal and can replace all,but you must use the supplementary terminal kit for use in cars without the gold plated connector contacts.
Have you run the complete diagnostic procedures and bench tested your throttle body? If not i would do it before i replaced the throttle body. What makes you feel you need to change out the throttle body? What is the car engine doing?
