So I went to a truckstop to measure the actual weight of my car, so I could enter it in my G-Tech meter. The lady at the counter thought I was crazy when I told her I wanted to weigh my car. Anyway, I was surprised at the result. The curb weight is spec'd at 3442 lbs, yet with me in the car it only weighed 3220. The tank was only about 20L full, so I calculate 46L times 0.7 equals 32.3kg = 71 lbs. Subtract my weight, and the net is about 3070 lbs with a full tank of fuel. When they spec curb weight, they're not including the weight of an average sized driver, are they?
