It should be cheaper to remove it to send it to a machine shop to drill out the screw. Or you can attempt it yourself with a drill and screw extrator set. You may also consider the alternative of just getting a rebuilt caliper. I think it is only $60 and change from Eeuro. It is certainly less hassle getting a rebuild and that's what I would do. I'd take the countersunk hex bolts in the old caliper if I decide to get a rebuilt. Those countersunk hex headed bolts in the rebuild caliper are just inferior and may strip much easier than the original ones in my opinion.
