There is a difference between a CS and a CSE ECU... A CSE ECU has different maps that will allow for 200 hp. The CS ECU is limited to 170 hp even if there is a BPC attached. Trust me on that one, I went a month with a BPC and my CS ECU just to see if the CS ECU would apapt to the BPC. At the end of the month, it still felt the same, but the day I put in a CSE ECU, I could feel the 30 hp difference after a few adaption runs. So yes, you need the BPC and the FPT ECU.
A Dawes device is a brand of MBC (Manual Boost Controller). This allows to to manually set your boost, but it does take away Trionic control of boost. Its still relatively safe because the Trionic will controll spark and timing still. Most people go for the MBC + A setup if you want to go that route. Do a search on the NG900 bb for Dean's posts on that issue.
If I were you, I'd go for the LPT conversion before trying an MBC. I think you'll enjoy the extra kick and I like that the Trionic still maintains control of boost. If you're still not satisfied, then you could start looking into remapped ECUs from the Swedish tuners.
