Winger you got it, the other method is to open the rear driver's door and lock the car by pushing driver door lock, which is what I did, cause I was too lazy to get my keys which I thought were in my pocket to lock the door, after removing my laptop. The Slim jim kit included 2 plastic wedges and the tool I used which was a J shaped stiff wire.
