The first thing to to is to re-calibrate it, by pressing the top-left and bottom-right button (sometimes described as Auto and Vent) together and releasing them. This will re-set the system: the display will go blank, the unit will cycle through the various settings, lighting the different indicator lights in turn, for about ten to fifteen seconds then the display will return to the temperature setting you started with.
If there are faults in the system, a number showing how many faults are present will show up on the display - you then need to get actual the fault codes read by a specialist. I find that sometimes doing the Auto-Vent thing again will result in the faults apparently clearing. Whether they've actually cured themselves is a moot point.
some faults (motors/flaps not working properly for instance) may not show up during this check.
But I suggest you get a proper English language Owner's Manual from the dealer - or they come up on Ebay.
