Sunroof and headliner

With my ongoing tear down of the wrecked 94cs, I removed the headliner the other night. It seemed rather trivial, the headliner shell is held up by what is obvious. They are:
the center dom light,
the sunroof opening trim,
two buttons in the rear,
two sun visor bases and two sun visor seats in the front,
four handles by the door, (btw this is one more reason I love my SAAB 9k. I have not yet found any other car which has a driver side roof handle on the inside)
and the sunroof motor panel.
With the headliner removed, the whole sunroof tray is exposed and can be taken down. I wonder if it is easier to service the sunroof this way rather than to remove it from the top. Of course I have removed the sunroof glass and sun shade before doing this following the carboncow web site instructions.
It reminds me of the old c900 days having to fix the drooping headliner. Apparently SAAB learned the lessen well. After 11 years, the 94 headliner is still good as new.
