Spark plugs don't make the engine run leaner or richer. The heat range has to do with how hot the tip is, which can be used to adjust combustion temperatures to a bit.
You need to adjust the AMM to get the right mixture. The absolute resistance doesn't matter much. Part of the adjustment is to account for differences in different AMMs, so starting with the same resistance as the old AMM is good, but you still need to adjust the new AMM to get the right mixture. There have been various posts on how to properly adjust the AMM.
Right now, a white plug means LEAN running. As I remember, you were running rich. Sounds like that's not the case any more. So I wouldn't want to run the car any leaner.
