As far as I know, you shouldn't have to remove the coolant unless radiator removal is required (i.e. rusted bolts), but they are tied together as a package.
Note that there is some chance that the hose connection may be frozen on the the condensor - I had this happen when replacing an A/C hose on my C900, required a new condensor as a result. You may want to blast it with penetrant beforehand. I'm not sure if it would help to buy the offered used part with the hoses attached, perhaps the seller can comment.
