...and sometimes, my idle just goes whacky for no reason. And i know my AIC valve is working fine.

You should check yoru AIC valve, but if you're sure it's not that, then here is something to try.

Tonight, unhook the positive battery terminal on your car, and then the negative...

...just totally disconnet the battery, for the purpose of resetting the computers.

In the morning, hook up the negative, then the positive, and take it for a drive. see if this fixes your problem.

it fixes mine when all else fails.

The reason i do both bat terminals, and wait overnight, is because just to be sure that the computers will be totally reset, after 8 hours with no battery connections preset...

let me know if this works for you too ok?
