my 88 9KT is at 230k miles. i have been using this stuff for the last 100K miles and change my fluid twice a year, and my original auto box has outlived the critics!
when i pull the drain plug several years ago (4 or 5?) and found huge bands and chunks of metal on the magnet everyone said i was doomed! i even blew out the cooler lines on the highway and lost all fluid last summer (many though i was a toast then!) but it just keeps on going...
anyways...maxlife may have some benifit other than good marketing. if you haven't done your fluid in a long time you will most likly notice a major difference. a swear by twice a year...
