There's a lot more difference than just some new sheet metal. For starters, the hood is a different shape and slope, so the '93 fenders wouldn't fit the '92. Also, the hard-lines in the side of the '92 are different than the '93, as well as the parking light pods, and headlight size, and even the bumpers wouldn't match up.
'93 CDE cars still had the same fender/hood/lgiths as the '92 S, Turbo, and CD, but the Aeros (And '93 CS/CSE) went to the newer "CS" body.
I think it would prove to be more work than it's worth.
If you want to get a better/more agressive look for the car, there were kits for the '91/'92 cars by carlsson (And probably some others) which would be bumpers, side skirts, and perhaps a spoiler.
