Hello,
A couple of days ago I posed this same question and had a few suggestions, mostly to do with the DI cassette. I've noticed a few other things and want to try and narrow this down before I lay out the $300 for a new DI cassette. By the way, my car is a '94 CS non-turbo with about 188K miles. This problem appears after the car has been running for a while, has gotten hot (upper 1/3 of temp gauge, though not overheating) and has been parked with the engine off for 15 minutes or so. When I start the car again it runs rough and surges and bucks. The check engine light doesn't come on and there is no error code if I check the codes. The problem goes away if I (a) let the car cool off for a few minutes or (b) keep driving. This symptom appeared about three weeks ago after I replaced the original DI cassette with a used one we had lying around. I had to replace the original DI cassette when the car refused to start after I had parked it. I really appreciate your help!
