Auto to 5 speed conversion, final chapter

I bought the 94 cde on ebay last October. It was flat bed home because it won't start. After putting in a new battery, it started right up. The first weekend in my driveway I took it apart to start the auto to 5 speed conversion. Some of you followed the saga. I think around New Years day 2005 I put the mechanical parts together after the last piece of parts came to complete the mechanical portion. It runs and boost just fine.
This is to be Russel's car. He just got his learner's permit last week. So I was in no hurry to go over the problems even though it starts and runs following the conversion.
After resolving the brake light issue and put aveything back together I finally have time to take inventory of the remaining problems before leaving for a trip tomorrow.
1) I thought initially the ACC was shot. Not true. The blower motor was shot. The ACC was good.
2) The cde came with a radio and no code. I installed the radio from my wrecked 94cs. But the cde doesn't accept the code. Why? Does the fact the cs has radio only and the cde has both radio and cd player makes the difference? I wouldn't think so.
I will start teaching Russel to drive stick after I come back.
