Too many variables in your question.
E36 M3s ('95-99) were 3.0-3.2L, ~320HP outside the US, 240HP US. The US M3 did not get a real 'M' engine.
E46 M3s ('01-present) are ~330HP everywhere.
Broadly speaking, an Aero will accelerate with a US-spec (240HP) E36 M3. A slushbox Aero might actually be quicker in raw acceleration from 0-60 than a slushbox US E36 M3.
As for any of the other M3s, forget it.
A stock Aero has no prayer whatsoever of keeping up around a road course with a competently-driven M3 of any type. A Quaife diff and bigger wheels/tires and a good bit of driving skill might keep a US-motor E36 M3 in sight. Adding power helps a little, but the FWD 9000 chassis, even with a Quaife, will never put down power as well as the RWD M3.
