A lot more than the timing chain! These engines are interference engines, so if the chain breaks, you're looking at an engine rebuild or replacement.
There's no set mileage for replacement. If the TC becomes noisy, then its definitely time for replacement. If not, then I wouldn't mess with it...its not a cheap job. Its not just gonna snap on you; it should give some warning first. At that mileage, I'd make sure to listen for noise, but there are cars that have gone way over that on the original chain.
