First, where on earth did you find a non-TCS 93 turbo? I wasn't aware there was such a beast, but then I'm only familiar with the U.S. model range.
Second, I think it's unlikely that a TCS brain would know what to make of not having any signals from the electronic throttle and all the valves and doodads that go along with TCS. In a non-TCS car, there's also going to be an idle control valve which won't get any instructions from a TCS computer, so at the very least your idle's probably going to be horrible.
Traction control is integrated into the Trionic brain -- they're not separate computers that talk to each other. In TCS cars with automatics, there's a second computer that controls the kickdown motor, and it would also have no idea how to operate without a TCS ECU passing it messages.
