What parts were removed when you replaced CV boot? I assume that you had to unbolt something to get the drive shaft out, i.e, the bottom three bolts that hold the balljoint to the control arm. Unfortunately, there is some slop in the holes allowing reassembly in a slightly different place than it was before you started. You would be quite suprised how much difference 1mm can make in the steering allignment.
To correct it, you could try loosening the bolts and repositioning the ball joint. Since you didn't say which side CV you did, I can't tell you which way to move the ball joint - you can probably figure it out. If this doesn't work, you need to get an allignment.
To avoid this in the future, some have advised removing the top of the balljoint instead. If this is what you did, I'm stumped.
