FWD with an open diff and serious HP is always going to be a handful.

My 9000 is an automatic so it's condemned to going through life with an open diff, ergo I'll never try to crank the HP *too* high.

The most important modification I've ever made to my Taurus SHO was the Quaife diff, it took a car that was seriously traction-limited at a stock 220HP and made it at least tolerable well above that.

Well, I guess you could argue that the most important modification was the Baer brakes, since in stock form you had a 3400lb 140mph car with 10in brake rotors, but the Quaife was very close.

It's not really worth bothering with big HP numbers unless you can put the power down.
